Enter a user name to identify yourself on the system, and fill in your first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, password and secret question and answer. The password and secret answer must be at least six characters long. Click on "Add" at the bottom of the form to create your account. The contact information on this page is only used in the event that a scientist or invasives expert needs to contact you to obtain more information about any sighting that you might submit.
After you have created an account, an e-mail message containing an activation code is sent to the e-mail address that you provide. Check your e-mail inbox within a few minutes of creating the account.
The ITS is operated in a partnership between the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources (OMNR), the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) and the Centre for Community Mapping (COMAP). Information from this page is used to help OFAH in its work to confirm sightings. It may also be used by OFAH to help to accredit some users as field experts.
